About us

At Ruth Machaki Initiative, we are committed to encouraging our community to plant arid climate-suitable trees with economic and food security benefits. Our mission is to conserve the environment and contribute to efforts for reversing negative climate change. The initiative is committed to driving positive change in environmental sustainability and community livelihoods, particularly in the arid and semi-arid region of Mbeere South.

Named after my biggest supporter-Mr Machaki, my father, the initiative goes beyond traditional approaches by championing transformative tree planting initiatives. With a focus on trees that thrive in arid conditions and offer tangible economic benefits, we aim to create a holistic and sustainable impact. Our mission is to empower local communities through increased seedling resources and comprehensive education, fostering a resilient ecosystem that not only mitigates the effects of climate change but also uplifts the economic well-being of the people in Mbeere South.

The Ruth Machaki Initiave stands at the forefront of innovative and community-centric solutions for a brighter and more sustainable future. Join us in making a sustainable impact.
